tangsellife.com  – The Presidential Palace responded to the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipidkor) of the National Police's move to search 13 locations related to alleged corruption cases in the coal sector. The government emphasized that it respects all ongoing legal processes and asks the public to uphold the principle of presumed innocence.

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said the government fully entrusts the handling of the case to law enforcement officials.

Palace Asks Public to Respect Legal Process

According to Prasetyo, the investigation and inquiry processes carried out by the Police must be respected without being accompanied by speculation that could disrupt the course of law enforcement.

"We all respect every legal process being carried out by Law Enforcement Officials (APH), in this case the Police. We also uphold the principle of presumed innocence so as to avoid unproductive speculation or judgment," said Prasetyo, Friday (10/7/2026).

He emphasized that the government remains committed to supporting anti-corruption efforts undertaken by law enforcement officials.

Prabowo Affirms Commitment to Eradicate Corruption

Prasetyo mentioned that President Prabowo Subianto, since the beginning of his administration, has repeatedly reminded all government ranks to maintain integrity and immediately carry out improvements.

According to him, the President considers corruption to be one of the biggest problems that must be resolved seriously.

"He has repeatedly reminded all government ranks, especially state apparatus, to immediately improve themselves and cleanse themselves before law enforcement actions or cleansing are carried out," said Prasetyo.

He added that the President continues to encourage the creation of clean, transparent, and accountable government governance.

Government Invites to Maintain National Stability

In addition to supporting law enforcement, Prasetyo reminded the importance of maintaining national stability amidst the ongoing legal process.

According to him, unity and conduciveness are the main capital for resolving various national problems and accelerating the implementation of development programs.

"Only with a safe, united, and trusting atmosphere can we resolve various national problems and accelerate the implementation of development programs for the welfare of all Indonesian people," he asserted.

Previously, Kortas Tipidkor Polri conducted searches at 13 locations related to the investigation of alleged corruption in the coal sector. To date, investigators are still examining evidence and parties suspected of being involved in the case.
