Tangsel Residents Echo National Optimism Through Cultural Action at Pamulang Square

Tangsellife.com - The Tangsel People's Cultural Action held at Pamulang Square on Tuesday (23/6) became a platform for the community to express the importance of maintaining national optimism. This event featured various traditional art performances as well as a message of togetherness amidst the social dynamics faced by the community.

The event, which took place from 15:00 to 17:00 WIB, included performances of Betawi Ngarojeng Dance, Ondel-Ondel attractions, and music from Absosial Band. Besides being entertainment, this event also highlighted the values of unity and hope for Indonesia's future.

Optimism Becomes the Main Message of the Cultural Activity

The activity coordinator, Jefri, said that optimism is an important capital in facing various national challenges. According to him, the community needs to see the opportunities and progress that have been achieved, without ignoring the various existing problems.

“We certainly realize there are still many problems that need to be solved. However, the community also needs to see the various existing opportunities and progress. Optimism is important so that we don't easily fall into pessimism and blame each other,” he said.

He emphasized that optimism does not mean closing the space for criticism, but rather becoming a basis for constructive participation in development.

Art and Culture Strengthen the Space of Togetherness

Cultural Coordinator, Adhay, assessed that art and culture play an important role in strengthening social solidarity. According to him, cultural spaces like this can be a means of building positive energy in the community.

“Culture always teaches about life, togetherness, and hope. That's why we want to make this event a space that brings positive energy to the community,” he said.

He added that cultural preservation is also a way to maintain local identity while strengthening social relationships among residents.

Residents Appreciate Positive Public Spaces

Several residents who attended appreciated the event because it created a positive and inclusive atmosphere. One visitor, Rahmat, assessed that the community needs more public spaces that foster a spirit of togetherness.

“I see that the community actually wants a calm and positive atmosphere. We want Indonesia to progress, the economy to improve, and people's lives to become more prosperous. Therefore, optimism needs to be maintained,” he said.

Meanwhile, another Pamulang resident, Nurhayati, hopes that similar activities can be held regularly.

“If what is spread continuously is anger and pessimism, the community will easily be divided. We need to talk more about the hope and the future we want to build together,” she said.

Cultural Action Becomes a Symbol of Unity and Hope

Through the Tangsel People's Cultural Action, the community shows that the values of mutual cooperation, unity, and optimism are still strongly maintained at the grassroots level. This event also serves as a reminder that culture can be a means of strengthening social cohesion amidst various challenges of the times.
