Jokowi Begins Indonesia Tour Today, Lampung is First Stop

Tangsellife.com - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), began his safari agenda touring Indonesia on Friday, June 26, 2026. Lampung became the first province visited in this series of trips.

Jokowi's inaugural visit to Lampung will be filled with a number of activities, starting from performing Friday prayers with the community, attending a cultural parade, to participating in the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) agenda.

Lampung Becomes the First Destination for Jokowi's Safari

PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus said Jokowi is scheduled to arrive in Lampung around 11:00 AM Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arrival, Jokowi will perform Friday prayers before continuing his journey to Mesuji Regency.

"His plan is to arrive in Lampung, God willing, according to the schedule at 11 o'clock, and then he plans to perform Friday prayers in Lampung. After Friday prayers, he will go to Mesuji. There are activities, including a cultural parade at 4 o'clock," said Bestari, Thursday (25/6/2026).

Attending PSI Regional Coordination Meeting and Bringing Messages for Cadres

In addition to greeting the community, Jokowi is also scheduled to attend the PSI Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) in Lampung.

In this agenda, Jokowi is expected to provide motivation to PSI cadres to be more active in building the party's strength in the regions.

Not only that, the former Mayor of Solo is also projected to deliver an important message regarding support for the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Then we also hope that Mr. Jokowi will convey other messages, namely regarding support for Mr. Prabowo-Gibran's government," said Bestari.

Jokowi Ready to Go Down to the Sub-District Level

Previously, Jokowi had expressed his readiness to go down directly to various regions to strengthen the PSI network.

This statement was made when attending the PSI National Working Meeting in Makassar some time ago.

According to Jokowi, he is still capable of visiting all provinces, regencies, cities, and even sub-districts if needed.

"If needed, I must come, I am still capable. I am still capable of coming to the provinces, all provinces. I am still capable of coming to regencies/cities, if necessary, even to the sub-district level, I am still capable," emphasized Jokowi.

He mentioned that Indonesia has 38 provinces, 514 regencies/cities, and around 7,000 sub-districts that are ready to be reached to strengthen the party's structure.

Targeting to Strengthen PSI's Structure and Militancy

According to Jokowi, the strength of a political party lies in a living, solid organizational structure that works concretely in the community.

Therefore, he urged all PSI cadres to continue working hard to grow the party.

"You all work hard for PSI, I will also work hard for PSI. You work desperately for PSI, I will also work desperately," said Jokowi.
