The event, which took place on Sunday (21/6/2026), was held independently and was attended by hundreds of participants of various ages. The event also attracted the attention of thousands of visitors from within and outside the region.

The implementation of the Geplakan Sleman UMKM Cultural Parade Anyam Rasa Festival serves as a cultural preservation event as well as a creative economic promotion space for residents.

The cultural procession began from the Embung Serut Cokrowijayan area and moved towards the main stage in Geplakan Hamlet. Participants appeared in traditional Javanese attire while showcasing various local artistic potentials and agricultural products.

To ensure the smooth running of the event, Bhabinkamtibmas officers, Babinsa, and volunteers assisted in security along the parade route.

Several UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) stalls were provided to showcase bamboo weaving handicrafts and Banyuraden's signature culinary products. This activity is considered capable of directly increasing community economic transactions during the event.

Kanoman Hamlet Head, Jumakir, stated that this activity also serves as a cultural education tool for the younger generation to continue to recognize and preserve local traditions.

According to him, the involvement of youth in the Geplakan Sleman UMKM Cultural Parade Anyam Rasa Festival shows the strong spirit of mutual cooperation in the community.
