Tangsellife.com - Firdaus Oiwobo reported the former Chairman of the Student Executive Body (BEM) of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Tiyo Ardiyanto, to the South Tangerang Metro Police.

The report was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Metro Police, Ipda Yudhi Susanto. According to him, the police report was received on Monday (15/6/2026).

South Tangerang Police Confirm Firdaus Oiwobo's Report

Yudhi stated that the police have received the report filed by Firdaus Oiwobo against Tiyo Ardiyanto.

“That’s correct, there is a police report,” Yudhi said when confirmed, Wednesday (17/6/2026).

However, the police have not yet disclosed the details of the reported case. Currently, the report is still in the investigation stage by the South Tangerang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

“An investigation is still underway to uncover this case and determine the next course of action,” he said.

Tiyo Ardiyanto Becomes Public Spotlight

Tiyo Ardiyanto's name has recently garnered public attention after several criticisms he directed at the government became widely discussed on social media.

In addition, Tiyo also claimed to have found two tracking devices suspected of being installed on the vehicle he was using during his trip from Central Java to Yogyakarta.

According to his account, the devices were found after his phone repeatedly received notifications indicating a tracking device moving with the vehicle he was using.

Tiyo Claims to Find Two Tracking Devices

Tiyo explained that one device was found under the vehicle. Meanwhile, the other device was found in the rear tire area of the vehicle.

The discovery occurred after he traveled from Kudus to Semarang, then continued his journey to Yogyakarta to attend a discussion and demonstration event.

He admitted to initially ignoring the notifications on his mobile phone because he was driving. However, after further inspection, two objects suspected of functioning as tracking devices were found.

Police Still Conducting Investigation

As of now, the South Tangerang Metro Police have not provided further information regarding the substance of the report filed by Firdaus Oiwobo or its connection to the events experienced by Tiyo Ardiyanto.

The police emphasized that the investigation process is ongoing to gather the necessary information and facts before determining the next legal steps.

This case is still developing and awaiting the official investigation results from the police authorities.
